Today, formal architecture education such as universities spreads around the archipelago. In Indonesia, it is important, however, to note that graduating from these school does not make one an architect, but it only opens better opportunities to contribute to the architecture discipline.
In this edition, we invite you to unravel architectural education together. For talking about education means preparing the next generation. With 166 architecture schools, Indonesia has a huge potential to contribute to the local and international architectural discourse sooner or later. Thus, the curriculum should be questioned, pedagogy has to be discussed, and any other educational materials must be placed on the table to be dissected and debated.
